Foto NASA.<br \/>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<p>Para recolectar muestras de la superficie dejadas por el\u00a0Perseverance, la agencia espacial tiene la intenci\u00f3n de enviar dos helic\u00f3pteros de clase Ingenuity al cr\u00e1ter Jezero, donde volar\u00e1n a los tubos de muestra, los recoger\u00e1n y los llevar\u00e1n a un m\u00f3dulo de aterrizaje que est\u00e1n en las proximidades.<\/p>\n<p>Los dos nuevos modelos est\u00e1n basados en el dise\u00f1o del extraordinario Ingenuity, que ha superado todas las expectativas al realizar <strong>29 vuelos y sobrevivir m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o en Marte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, estas aeronaves ser\u00e1n un poco m\u00e1s pesadas y en lugar de los pies de apoyo, estar\u00e1n equipadas con ruedas. La intenci\u00f3n es que <strong>los drones se deslicen<\/strong> por la superficie marciana con mayor facilidad.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, cada aeronave contar\u00e1 con un brazo para agarrar los tubos de la superficie. Estos tubos no superan los\u00a0150 gramos, lo que no deber\u00eda representar un problema para estos dispositivos de vuelo.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la fase de recuperaci\u00f3n, los helic\u00f3pteros de agarre, que operan de forma independiente, volar\u00e1n hacia donde est\u00e9n\u00a0depositadas las muestras, se deslizar\u00e1n para aprehenderla y luego volar\u00e1n de regreso al m\u00f3dulo de recuperaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez depositado el tubo en la zona de entrega, el brazo rob\u00f3tico de la ESA lo recoger\u00e1 y lo colocar\u00e1 en la rampa de ascenso. Foto NASA.<br \/>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<p> La NASA ahora tiene buenas razones para creer que Perseverance seguir\u00e1 activo a principios de 2030, cuando comience la fase de recolecci\u00f3n de la misi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En este caso, las muestras ser\u00edan lanzadas por el robot a la superficie, recuperadas por los helic\u00f3pteros y depositadas en el m\u00f3dulo de aterrizaje en pocos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>En aquella posici\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n ser\u00edan recogidas por el brazo rob\u00f3tico, que puede extenderse hasta dos metros, para colocarlas en el minicohete.<\/p>\n<p>Perseverance cuenta con un total de 43 tubos para almacenar muestras. Pronto depositar\u00e1 una docena en suelo marciano para constituir una reserva de emergencia.
