(III): CAMBIOS EN EL COMPORTAMIENTO DE LA ACTIVIDAD VOLC\u00c1NICA.<\/p>\n<p>Del seguimiento de la actividad de los VOLCANES CHILES Y CERRO NEGRO, el SERVICIO GEOLOGICO\u00a0COLOMBIANO (SGC) informa que:<\/p>\n<p>En el transcurso del d\u00eda de hoy, 21 de marzo de 2018, el volc\u00e1n Chiles ha mostrado un nuevo incremento en la\u00a0sismicidad asociada con fractura de material cortical del edificio volc\u00e1nico. Algunos de estos sismos alcanzaron\u00a0magnitudes de hasta 3.7 en la escala de Richter y fueron reportados como sentidos por habitantes de los\u00a0municipios de Cumbal, T\u00faquerres, Pupiales e Ipiales. Esta manifestaci\u00f3n s\u00edsmica evidencia el comportamiento<br \/>\nde un volc\u00e1n que se mantiene activo.<\/p>\n<p>Como se ha venido reportando en los boletines ordinarios, la actividad s\u00edsmica se ha incrementado en las\u00a0\u00faltimas semanas, cabe destacar que el incremento de lo que va transcurrido el d\u00eda de hoy, tanto en n\u00famero\u00a0como en energ\u00eda, es significativamente mayor que los cambios que se han reportado.<\/p>\n<p>El SERVICIO GEOL\u00d3GICO COLOMBIANO y el INSTITUTO GEOF\u00cdSICO DE LA ESCUELA POLIT\u00c9CNICA NACIONAL DE ECUADOR siguen atentamente la evoluci\u00f3n de esta actividad s\u00edsmica y del fen\u00f3meno volc\u00e1nico e informar\u00e1n\u00a0oportunamente sobre los cambios que sean detectados.
